AppleScript to Force-mount unmountable disk images Authored by: slickseth on Jan 02, '05 10:48:59PM I may just be a big newbie, (and I undoubtably am), but when running this script the only items I could select when it asked me which DMG I wanted to mount were file folders and no DMG files. Double-click the DMG file to mount it. The contents of the file will appear on your computer's dekstop. Unmount or eject the DMG file when finished by dragging the mounted files to the Trash. The icon will turn into an eject symbol. You can also right-click or control-click the mounted drive and click 'Eject,' or use the 'CMD'+'E' keyboard shortcut. Next, click on your mounted DMG file on the left panel and click on ‘Burn' in the top toolbar. When you see the ‘Burn Disk In:' message, click on the USB drive. The DMG file will now be burned to the USB drive, and you can use it to do program installations.
